1. Who we are

RedditAi, trading as ReddSignal ("we", "us"), operates the AI sales signal platform at reddsignal.co. We are the data controller for the personal data described in this notice — we decide why and how it is processed. Contact: privacy@reddsignal.co.

2. Data we collect and why

• Account data (name, email address, login credentials, authentication identifiers from Google sign-in) — to create and secure your account. Legal basis: performance of our contract with you.
• Workspace and configuration data(company profile, products, monitored topics, keywords, communities) — to provide the monitoring and scoring features. Legal basis: contract.
• Content you submit and AI prompts/outputs— to generate summaries, scores, and draft replies. Legal basis: contract.
• Support messages — to answer your queries. Legal basis: contract and our legitimate interest in supporting customers.
• Usage and telemetry data (feature usage, scan counts, log data, device identifiers, IP address) — to operate, secure, debug, and improve the Service and prevent fraud and abuse. Legal basis: legitimate interests.
• Marketing preferences — to send product updates where you have opted in. Legal basis: consent.
• Records required by law (e.g. tax and accounting records). Legal basis: legal obligation.

Publicly available posts we analyse are collected from third-party platforms. We do not build profiles of the individuals who authored them beyond what is needed to display and score the post in your workspace.

3. Who we share data with

• Service providers and subprocessors — hosting and database infrastructure, AI model providers used to analyse posts and draft replies, email delivery, and support tooling.
• Paddle, our Merchant of Record, for the sale of subscriptions, subscription management, payments, invoicing, and tax compliance.
• Professional advisers — legal and accounting, where necessary.
• Authorities — where required by law or to establish or defend legal claims.

We do not sell personal data.

4. International transfers

Our providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States. Where data leaves the UK/EEA we rely on appropriate safeguards such as UK/EU Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.

5. Retention

We keep account and workspace data for as long as your account is active and for up to 12 months after closure, unless a longer period is required for legal, tax, or dispute purposes. Logs and telemetry are typically retained for up to 12 months. After that, data is deleted or anonymised.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access your data, correct it, erase it, restrict or object to processing, receive it in a portable format, withdraw consent at any time, and complain to your data protection supervisory authority (in the UK, the ICO). Email privacy@reddsignal.co and we will respond within one month.

7. Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encryption in transit, row-level access controls in our database, and least-privilege access to production systems. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data and will notify you of any breach as required by law.

8. Cookies

We use essential cookies and local storage to keep you signed in and to keep the Service secure — these cannot be switched off. We may use limited analytics cookies to understand product usage, and our checkout provider may set cookies necessary to complete a purchase. You can manage or clear cookies in your browser settings.
